The MiningWeek & MinePro 2026 International Mining Exhibition and Convention, bringing together Mongolia’s mineral resources policy, investment, technology, innovation, and supply chain ecosystem, will take place for the fifth consecutive year from 16–18 September 2026 at the foothills of Taij Khairkhan in Nalaikh District, Ulaanbaatar.
Continuing to expand its reach each year, the event has established itself as one of Mongolia’s leading integrated platforms for the mining industry. It brings together representatives from the public and private sectors, diplomatic missions, international organizations, investors, chambers of commerce, mining companies, suppliers, and industry professionals.
Sustainable Development and Global Partnerships
MiningWeek & MinePro 2026 will be held under the theme “Towards Sustainability: Greener Future & Global Partnerships,” highlighting sustainable development, green transition, and international cooperation.
Today, the global mining industry is increasingly assessed not only by the volume of resources it produces, but also by its environmental and social responsibility, technological advancement, energy efficiency, and contribution to local development.
Within this changing landscape, Mongolia faces the challenge of using its natural resources responsibly, developing value-added production, improving its investment environment, and strengthening its integration into international markets.
MiningWeek & MinePro 2026 will therefore go beyond discussing the industry’s current conditions. It will provide a platform for defining future development priorities and presenting practical solutions and new models of cooperation.
New Business Opportunities and Direct Partnerships
Participants will have opportunities to connect directly with mining project developers, international investors, financial institutions, technology companies, engineering firms, and professional service providers.
Suppliers will also be able to present their products, services, and technological solutions to relevant target groups while exploring opportunities for direct procurement and long-term supply partnerships. By strengthening connections between major mining projects and domestic suppliers, the event will contribute to improving the competitiveness of Mongolia’s local manufacturing and service sectors and support the further development of the national mining supply chain.
Where Policy, Investment, and Technology Converge
Over 3 days, MiningWeek & MinePro 2026 will feature broad discussions on mining policy, the regulatory environment, investment, technology, innovation, green transition, responsible mining, and international cooperation.
Industry experts, researchers, engineers, business representatives, and young professionals will exchange knowledge and experience while gaining insights into emerging technologies, global mining trends, and new opportunities for Mongolia. MiningWeek & MinePro 2026 is therefore more than an exhibition and convention. It is a strategic meeting platform designed to strengthen trust among industry stakeholders, create new partnerships, and advance the sustainable and responsible development of Mongolia’s mining sector.
The event is jointly organized by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of Mongolia, the Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority of Mongolia, and the Mongolian National Mining Association.
